Cherry Press – The perfect print partner

We were thrilled when Reesha from Pret a Papier got in touch. Pret a Papier offers personalised stationery and custom party printables in Dubai. Reesha also produces the most exquisite bespoke wedding stationery. Your probably asking yourself, were did Cherry Press come in? Well, Reesha had designed a full suite of wedding stationery consisting of wedding invitations, gift correspondence and rsvp’s but her clients wanted them to be a little different from your modern digital print. With this in mind Reesha went on the hunt for alternative print methods.

After trawling the internet she finally stumbled across Letterpress, with its tactile finish and no limit on the thickness of paper which can be used, Reesha new this was what her clients were looking for.Reesha then searched the length and breadth of Dubai in search of a Letterpress print partner but with no Letterpress studios to be found, she targeted studios further a field and stumbled across us. From the moment Reesha got in touch we hit it off, and I supose you could say the rest  is history.

The stationery was printed on a 425gsm board throughout with the invitations printed in two colour and both the RSVP’s and Gift correspondence being printed in one colour.

    Telegram save the dates

We were so pleased when Warren and Emma approached Cherry Press to help them produce their save the dates for their forthcoming wedding. With Warren coming from a creative background and having already handled the creative element they were looking for a letterpress print partner who could bring their design to life.

As soon as we saw the design we were excited, and after listening to Warren and Emma’s ideas on colour palette, we soon decided on a hefty 700gsm GF Smith Colorplan Duplex sheet, with a combination of Azure blue and Bright white. For the ink colours we decided on Cool grey 8 for the face and Pantone 643 for the reverse. So we got mixing then printing and we were all thrilled with the results.
